The Jason Project was created to take teachers and students on adventures without leaving the classroom walls. Students and teachers tag along with the Jason explorers on a year-long virtual field trip. The team sends live broadcasts from locations in January and February and provides year-round chat room opportunities and virtual labs. Teachers are provided with supplemental classroom materials and videos. There is a $250 fee for participation. Limited materials from past expeditions are free.

No subject has been left out. There is even a link that lists explanations of the Chemistry behind hundreds of daily activities. The possibilities for a teacher are endless.

Math Forum supplies teachers with lesson plans, daily problems, games, articles, and applications to science for a wide range of math topics from General Math to Calculus. Teachers can also exchange ideas with other teachers. Students can enter a daily-problem contest and submit answers online. Quality answers are posted by the Forum. Hundreds of links to research articles and professional development opportunities are also included.

The site connects curriculum areas and suggests ways to integrate subjects. Ron Kurtus has designed a site to encourage students to have confidence and live as a champion. Virtual experiments, such as an optics bench for Physics, are available to teachers and students. Self-guided lessons and articles are provided for many Physical Science and Health topics. This site contains much philosophy that is based on a secular worldview, but is moral. Teachers should be warned of the absence of God in the philosophical sections but are still encouraged to use the site, as many of the resources are excellent. Limited lessons in subjects other than Science and Health are available.

Brain Connection was created to provide access to research about to the brain to teachers and students. The site supports the "No Child Left Behind" initiative and links teachers to hundreds of articles about the brain and learning. Teachers can also find professional development resources, suggested books, an image gallery, animations, and PowerPoint presentations for classroom use. There are also games for student learning.

Type in a word and find the meaning, synonyms, or antonyms, or several other functions, even pictures. Secondary functions of the site include the ability to search and read a variety of literature sources. A teacher or student can search word by word through Shakespeare's works for the quote they need. Or they could take a quiz over the state capitals or common verbs. Quotations from literally hundreds of people are available as well as the text of the Bible and nursery rhymes. The site even includes a logic game that develops critical thinking skills.

Hyper History is well-named. This site gives instant access to "synchronoptic lifelines, timelines, and maps" for 3000 years of history in art, politics, music, science, religion, and civilization. Students and teachers can use this site for research and discovery in any subject. The site links students and teachers to articles on events such as terrorism or World War 2.
